718 and P20 mold steel uses the same type of mold steel, but better hardenability, better performance, you can create a large size, high-grade plastic mold forming parts.
718 purposes:
For large long-life plastic injection mold, such as home appliances, computer housings and other molds. High surface finish of the blow mold plastic mold as high hardness, can be used to slide the plastic mold in the molding tool; production needs can be applied as flame hardening or nitriding of the mold parts.
