● Features and application:
Measuring and cutting steel, is a small amount of chromium-containing low-alloy tool steel. The cold-rolled into thin strips generally, the used to make low-load operation, requiring sharp edge of the tool, such as surgical knives, razor blades, etc. Also be used as a scraper, chisel, rasp and wool scissors and other manual and motorized tools.
● Chemical Composition:
Carbon C: 1.30 ~ 1.45
Si Si: ≤ 0.40
Manganese Mn: ≤ 0.40
Sulfur S: ≤ 0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤ 0.030
Chromium Cr: 0.50 ~ 0.70
Ni: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.25
Copper Cu: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.30
● Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: Annealed, 241 ~ 187HB, indentation diameter of 3.9 ~ 4.4mm; quenching, ≥ 64HRC
● Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:
Heat treatment specifications: sample quenching 780 ~ 810 ℃, water-cooled.
● Delivery status: the status of delivery of steel to annealing.
