● Features and application:
Is empty of hot work tool steel hardened, the introduction of the U.S. Department of the H11 steel. Performance and service life than 3Cr2W8V steel. Applicable for aluminum die casting, hot extrusion and perforation with the tools and mandrel, die forging hammer forging, press forging dies, high-speed forging mold and plastic molding, etc.; was also used for aircraft, rockets and other anti-heat 400 ~ 500 ℃ working temperature of the structural components.

Carbon C: 0.33 ~ 0.43
Si Si: 0.80 ~ 1.20
Manganese Mn: 0.20 ~ 0.50
Sulfur S: ≤ 0.030
Phosphorus P: ≤ 0.030
Chromium Cr: 4.75 ~ 5.50
Ni: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.25
Copper Cu: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.30
Vanadium V: 0.30 ~ 0.60
Mo Mo: 1.10 ~ 1.60
● Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: Annealed, ≤ 235HB, indentation diameter ≥ 3.95mm
● Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:
Standard heat treatment: quenching, 790 ± 15 ℃ warm-up, 1000 ± 6 ℃ (salt) or 1010 ± 6 ℃ (controlled atmosphere furnace) heating, insulation 5 ~ 15min, air-cooled, 550 ± 6 ℃ tempering.
